Dilemma of the Day

These beauties landed in my lap last week.  3 of them.

I love them.

They were once part of a huge, glorious chandelier in a vast, magnificent castle.

I made that up - I really have NO idea what they were, what they're for, or what I can turn them into.

Any suggestions?

  1. I thought they were princess crowns. Of course I can't tell how big they are, but if the tiara fits add some jewels and wear it proud.

    1. Bliss - they're pretty big. I know, I'll wear one around my waist. I should probably dust them first.

  2. you could put them all on a pole and make a fab jewelry organizer! you could put little hooks in the holes to hang necklaces.
    they are awesome!

  6. OMG! I love these! I'll buy one if I could pry one from your lovely hands! LOL If they were mine and as big around as a girls waist...I would make a chandelier lamp, but a really cool one, with chicken wire and ruffles or feathers and that as the crown and a pendenant lamp with a vintage light bulb suspended from the center! So many ideas are swirling thru my little mind..... How about chiffon flowing from the center of it to the floor and hanging above a little princess's bed! or wait what about... :) Wish I had one.

  7. My first thought was they were crowns, but as big as they are they must've been part of a chandelier...in a castle of course :) They would make a pretty sculptural wall hanging if you grouped them together. Good luck with however you decide to use them!

  9. I love all of your ideas! They do look like crowns and they're so pretty!! I think I've decided to use them above my kitchen island and hang them as pendant type lights (I've been looking for an excuse to get rid of my pot rack anyway!) Now, where's that electrician when I need him.... ~L
